TOMMY HILFIGER

The Best of Americana' - Tommy Jeans

When art director Rolph van Heyster talks about America, he describes an unmistakable magic that radiates from the land of endless possibilities. With this vision as a starting point, he approached Voxpop for a new Tommy Jeans campaign. Photographer Will Falize and art director Tijn Bakker translated this concept into the streets of Düsseldorf, where they captured the essence of American streetwear.

Of all the American subcultures the brand has influenced, the hip-hop scene of the '90s remains one of the most iconic. Tommy Hilfiger became a symbol of cultural fusion when Snoop Dogg appeared on Saturday Night Live in 1992 wearing the now legendary red- white and blue Tommy sweater. This moment marked a democratization of the brand: luxury fashion became accessible to everyone. It is this inclusive approach that continues to make Tommy Hilfiger a leading brand today.
