G-Star RAW x Calico Club

For the collaboration between G-Star RAW and Calico Club, the G-Star Elwood was created in a limited edition. Voxpop produced the photo campaign at the G-Star headquarters in Amsterdam, under the art direction of Rolph van Heyster and in collaboration with Marcel Konijn, head of wholesale.

The latest 3D jeans have been upgraded with innovative materials, three different washes and a renewed logo design.

G-Star presented the history of the G-Star Elwood from 1996, including the influence of Pierre Morisset's original sketch, which inspired the style. His daughter, Clemence, was also present and received the first pair of jeans from the collaboration. The legacy of her father was discussed and his impact on denim and the fashion industry.

A striking bus shelter was even placed in front of the G-Star RAW headquarters!

Om de lancering te vieren, organiseerde G-Star een evenement met een rondetafelgesprek tussen belangrijke spelers uit de industrie, waarvan wij de videoregistratie maakte, evenals een podcast over het nieuwe ontwerp en de inspiratie erachter.
