Marieke, a 27-year-old Dutch woman, works at an advertising agency in New York. She is lonely in 'the city that never sleeps', especially when her boyfriend Dylan shows up less and less often. Only when she goes on a trip with colleagues to a beach house in Long Island does the introverted young woman finally blossom and dare to let go of a drama from the past. Subtle drama about loneliness, mourning and starting over.
